By The River Kupa

I always love to take small trips down to the shore of the river Kupa. It relaxes me when I'm nervous and I get the chance to take photos of that beautiful sight. Here is a preview of one of those trips.

Gjuro The Cat

Few days ago I found this little creature in front of my house door. He was cold, hungry and muddy so I decided to give him a shelter and a name - Gjuro. After I fed him he found his perfect little resting place inside of my old shoe. The view was so emotive that I quickly took my cam and took couple of spontaneous shots. Unfortunately, two days after, this sweet little creature was gone...somebody took him while I was away.

Somewhere In Between & Morning Lights

One early morning I decided to take a little trip to the hills of Petrinja and catch the first sunbeams on nearby trees. I set up my tripod, adjust some settings on my camera and I was ready for the shooting. This is the result of my early morning trip.

Project - "Deformography"

For this project I found inspiration in controversial artist Marilyn Manson and one of his songs. The idea was to make something strange and weird but also with a message. It's up to you to guess what is the massage of this project...

Four Seasons - "One year project"

One and a half year ago I started a project called Four Seasons inspired by the great composer Antonio Vivaldi. I found the perfect locaton for my project and started to take photos. After one year I was finished and this is the final result of my work...

I used the Canon EOS 400D and Canon PS S3IS

Turning the page - Canon EOS 400D - Portraits

In the April of 2007. I sold my compact Canon PS S3 IS and bought the new Canon EOS 400D. The difference was overwhelming and finally I had the SLR system camera. The weeks that followed I was testing it's ability and adjusting on a new system of photography. I will now present to you some of my first portraits that I took with my new DSLR cam.

Nature Photos

Here is a couple of my first nature - animal photos taken with my Canon PS S3IS camera

...and this concludes the posting of my old Canon PS S3IS photos, and now I'll turn to my new Canon EOS 400D...

Conceptual Photos

This is the series of conceptual photos that I took on my old Canon PS S3IS

My first conceptual photos

This tree photos are my first conceptual work and after I took them I fell in love in this kind of photography. I tried to present the problem of children slavery in the world through the image of an egg (represents the young life) that is tied in a chain (slavery).

The photos were taken with Canon Powershot S3IS, 0.6 sec, f 5

My first nature photo

This is my first nature photo that I took on the litlle hill in Petrinja city. The technical aspect of this photo is poor but the moment is more than ameazing. My hands were shaking like an earthquake and I had some really big problem with my auto focus because I had my camera only for two weeks.

The photo was taken with Canon Powershot S3IS, 1/50 sec, f 3.5
